About us

Create Gloucestershire is a new arts development organisation led by and for the sector. Our core mission is to enable and support strategic and collective action. 

By working together we aim to:

• raise the profile of the sector
• support innovation and ambition
• use resources more effectively
• better meet needs in Gloucestershire
• attract, nurture and sustain talent.

Create Gloucestershire was set up by a group of arts leaders in Gloucestershire committed to sustaining the sector during a time of unprecedented financial cuts and political change. (Gordon Scott, Prema: Deborah Rees, Roses Theatre: Cath Wilkins, Glos Dance: Ali Russell, New Brewery Arts: Geoffrey Rowe, Cheltenham Everyman and Lucy Sharp, Artshape.)


Create Gloucestershire Team:

Create Gloucestershire is driven and resourced by its members. Strategic support and leadership is provided by Pippa Jones, Development Director, with additional coordination from Mel Scaffold, Development Facilitator.

Design Consultancy is provided by Barney Heywood.
