Kate Danielson Associates
I love the practical side of producing – doing what it takes to get a new show, a new gig, a new programme to the starting blocks and on to a successful life beyond.
I have been producing, project managing and fundraising in the arts for the past 25 years and work in music, theatre, visual arts, cross arts and festivals. I create partnerships, find funders, manage budgets, and provide the links between creative teams and the business world with a foot in each camp. The holy grail for me is to position organisations so they are in the right position to raise money, build powerful partnerships and get things done with the right team.
I have produced my own projects (as a theatre producer in London), worked within organisations (as Director of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival) and as a consultant. My clients include Create Gloucestershire (creating a new apprentice/internship programme), Cheltenham Festivals (running a digital project, Qualia), the Jerwood Charitable Foundation (setting up the DCMS Jerwood Creative Bursaries Scheme), NOFA (the National Orchestra for All, Interim Chair) and the Prince’s Drawing School in London (fundraising strategy).
“This business needs more like Kate Danielson. Knowledgeable, approachable, energetic and efficient”
