Arts Education Work Strand

Create Gloucestershire is delighted to announce its partners in an arts education programme running between November 2011 and May 2012.

The context for this strand of work is the closure of GLOSS, the agency responsible for arts education across Gloucestershire.  The Create Gloucestershire programme will aim to manage the closure of GLOSS as positively as possible for the range of artists and educators who currently use and value the service.

There are several different strands of work designed to ensure the learning and expertise built up by GLOSS over the years is retained in the wider arts and education sector, including work with disabled children, BME communities and others facing exclusion.   For more details please contact each organisation individually as below.

Our chosen delivery partners are:

Roses Theatre - forging better links with schools and FE/HE sector plus a volunteering and work experience project with young disabled volunteers.  http://www.rosestheatre.org/contactus.aspx

Stroud Valley Arts- personalised CPD support/training for artists wishing to work in schools and other educational venues . http://www.sva.org.uk/home/contacts.html
