EVIDENCING OUTCOMES IN ARTS & CULTURE

A free training session for artists and organisations in Gloucestershire

DATE: Wed 4 July 2012
TIME: 1-5pm
VENUE: Prema, Bethesda Chapel, South Street, Uley, Nr Dursley, Gloucestershire GL11 5SS

You know that your projects work, but how do you demonstrate the outcomes and impact to potential funders and stakeholders?

This hands-on training session will:
• give you an opportunity to think about the impact of your arts and cultural activity on individuals and communities
• using your projects as examples, explore how best to articulate the impact of arts and culture, and help persuade funders and stakeholders of the difference you make
• consider how you can use evidence you already collect to assess your outcomes – and to identify any gaps in your evidence base

James Noble is an experienced social researcher and facilitator. He currently works part-time as a Research Director at Ipsos MORI and runs a company called What Really Works which aims to help smaller organisations to do simple but useful evaluations.

Come and join us at this free training session and come away with tools and ideas to show how your arts and cultural activity really works!
