Free advice session for artists and arts and cultural organisations in Gloucestershire

DATE: Thursday 28 March 2013

TIME: 2-4.30pm

VENUE: Parabola Arts Centre, Parabola Road, Cheltenham, GL50 3AA

Arts Award is a national qualification that supports young people to develop their engagement with the arts, helping them to develop as artists and arts leaders. Whether you trained to deliver Arts Award some time ago but haven’t delivered, or just want to know more about Arts Award and what it’s all about, this session  will get you up to speed and help you to find the best route for you and your organisation to get involved.

This session will cover:

  • the basics of Arts Award and Artsmark
  • the new ‘Explore’ level & elements of the award at Bronze, Silver & Gold
  • how you could become an Arts Award ‘Supporter’
  • Arts Award Voice - the new Arts Award website for young people
  • how the Bridge Organisation can support you.

This Arts Awards advice session will be delivered by Fran McLarty of RIO (Bridge Organisation for the South West).
