Job: Apprentice Programme Assistant, GDance

Post: 1 year fixed term contract to 31 December 2015

Weekly hours: 30 hours

Job Purpose:

To support staff with administration, research and communications; supporting productions, courses and events as required and supporting the team in the office.

The programme assistant role is offered as part of the Creative Employment Programme, available to those aged 16-24 years old who qualify with the terms and conditions found here http://creative-employment.co.uk/the-creative-employment-programme.

The apprentice will support the Director and programme staff with general office management including administration, supporting productions, courses and events as required and sustain a strong online presence for GDance.

Albeit most work will be office based, he / she must be able and willing to travel and work occasional unsociable hours when necessary.

The successful candidate must have a keen interest in gaining administrative experience in an office and production environment. He/she must be well organised with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications and IT (including social networking) skills.

He / she will be confident with research and take pride in the accuracy of their work and communications.  The post-holder will be driven by a strong belief in, and commitment to, inclusivity in the arts.
