Senior Project Officer: Interpretation at Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT)

We save species around the world from extinction; our nine UK Wetland Centres inspire thousands of visitors to enjoy being close to nature.

The role:

We are seeking a highly creative professional to assist in the delivery of strategic interpretation-led projects at WWT wetland centres and sites in the UK. You will be responsible for the project management of assigned projects in the creative planning, design, production and installation of display, interactive, exhibit and other interpretative materials for WWT centre development and visitor/ community engagement projects.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate extensive experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite 5/6 – Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on an Apple Mac.

You will have a good eye for design, detail and quality and have proven experience in the management of multiple projects, including practical experience in coordination of site installations and working with contractors.

This role will be based at Slimbridge and will require travel across the UK to visit WWT wetland centres and sites.

Located at WWT HQ, Slimbridge Wetland Centre

Part time, permanent post (30 hours per week)

Salary: £20,168 per annum
