Festival Programme Co-ordinator (maternity cover), Cheltenham Literature Festival
The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival is looking for a highly motivated, flexible and meticulously organised person to join our team and play an active role in shaping and organising the programme for the internationally renowned Cheltenham Literature Festival.
The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival takes place over a 10 day period in October every year and features a vibrant programme of events for adults, schools and families plus an extensive range of free fringe activities around the town.
You will enjoy working in a team and sharing creative ideas, but you will also need to be self-reliant, with the drive and initiative to prioritise and manage complex workloads in a cross team environment. Most importantly you will have a passion for literature, politics, current affairs, a good knowledge of the local arts scene andbe committed to innovative ways of engaging the public.
Cheltenham Festivals is a leading cultural organisation with around 36 days of festivals of Literature, Jazz, Music and Science as well as year round educational projects.
Salary: £20,000 per annum + 5% pension contribution and ticket allocation.
