CALL OUT: Storyteller and Illustrator wanted for Llanthony Secunda Priory, Gloucester

Storyteller for Llanthony Secunda Priory

Llanthony Secunda Priory in partnership with the Art of Libraries project is seeking a children’s storyteller to develop, write and perform stories based on characters from Llanthony’s past. We want someone who can bring the past alive and reignite interest in a forgotten history. The stories can draw on characters – animal, human or objects, but the basis of the story must be founded on truthful historical facts. We already have a significant amount of historical information for you to work with, but would like you to present these stories to children in a light-hearted, fun and engaging way.

Must be available for an event on Saturday 9 September. Fixed fee of £300 inclusive of expenses, travel, props and equipment.
