Job: Collaborative Touring Consortium Cook Up Producer
Create Gloucestershire is looking for an exceptional producer to deliver a 3-year programme of work in Gloucester.
Are you passionate about promoting, and developing new audiences for, high quality performance?
Do you want to put Gloucester on the map as a home for exciting theatre?
Can you connect the dots between the local and the national, between homegrown and touring work, between individual participation and regional development?
If so this opportunity might be your perfect match.
The Collaborative Touring Consortium (CTC) is a national network of six regional organisations, including Create Gloucestershire, and Battersea Arts Centre (BAC), which has recently succeeded in its Strategic Touring Fund bid to develop an ambitious new touring model across the UK. The consortium aims to reinvent touring, bringing BAC’s programme to non-traditional performance spaces and developing tailored activity that addresses the specific audience development needs of the areas.
The first season is Autumn 2013 and includes exceptional work such as Kate Tempest’s Brand New Ancients. The project continues until 2016: six seasons over three years, which represents a huge investment in the creative and cultural life of Gloucester.
We welcome applications from individuals, organisations and partnerships. The producing fee is £24,000 over three years (inclusive of VAT if applicable), with all touring work resourced by the CTC. Support with activity development and marketing is available.
