Free practical planning session for NPOs and other arts and cultural organisations in Gloucestershire

DATE: Thursday 28 March 2013

TIME: 10am-1pm

VENUE: Parabola Arts Centre, Parabola Road, Cheltenham, GL50 3AA

Equality Action Plans are a requirement of all Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations, and are excellent practice for all arts and cultural organisations who are committed to removing barriers in the arts world.

This session will offer practical advice and guidance on how to write one that is specific and relevant for your organisation and the context in which you work.

This advice session will be run by Ruth Kapadia, Relationship Manager, Diversity in Arts Practice, at Arts Council England South West.

Arts Council England is committed to developing the ‘Creative Case’ for diversity - the recognition that artistic excellence relies on the richness and innovation that diversity brings. Equality Action Plans are one way of helping organisations to demonstrate how they contribute to the Creative Case.
