Grants for the Arts & Strategic Touring Fund

Free advice session for artists and arts and cultural organisations in Gloucestershire

DATE: Wednesday 1 May 2013

TIME: 2-5pm

VENUE: Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham

Grants for the Arts (G4A) is an Arts Council England funding stream that provides grants for a wide range of arts and creative projects. This session is for artists, practitioners and organisations who want to know more about G4A and explore if it could provide a source of funds for their creative ideas and projects.

The Strategic Touring Fund is designed to encourage collaboration between organisations, and is designed to enable improved access to great art in people’s local area. This includes more high quality art in places and for people with the least engagement in the arts, and stronger relationships between those involved in artistic, audience and programme development.

This session will outline the aims of both programmes, and enable you to hear about what makes a strong application.

This funding advice session will be run by Philip Butterworth, Lead Relationship Manager for Gloucestershire, Arts Council South West.

One-to-one meetings: Following the session, Philip Butterworth will be happy to have one-to-one meetings to discuss potential applications to the programmes.

If you are interested in attending, and/or having a one-to-one meeting, please contact Paul Milton at the Everyman Theatre at to book a place.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
