The Arts Fundraising Fellowship Programme, the first of its kind in the UK, aims to create the next generation of leading Development Directors skilled with the vision, entrepreneurial expertise and ingenuity to make significant difference to the arts fundraising landscape. Through their combined skills, knowledge and dedicated work, the Fellows will help to shape a more resilient, entrepreneurial arts sector, which is fit for the future.

Thanks to support from Arts Council England, they have launched a national rollout of the Fellowships programme for Year 3, 2015/16. This means that we will be able to support five Fellows in each of the five Arts Council England areas. The programme is therefore seeking 5 arts organisations in the South West of England to host a Fundraising Fellow in 2015/16

Experience of the programme to date has already demonstrated a hugely positive impact for both the Fellows and their Host Organisations. As well as being of great benefit to the Fellows’ own learning and career development, it has provided Host Organisations with increased fundraising, infrastructure, knowledge and capacity, and more active fundraising networks.

Please note: each Host Organisation is required to contribute £10,000 towards the cost of their Fellow.

Deadline for applications from Host Organisations Mon 19 January 2015

The Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Programme will help to transform fundraising across the arts and cultural sector. The Programme was the result of an Arts Council England commissioned grant and has been developed and is led by the Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Consortium. Consortium partners include the DARE Partnership of Opera North and the University of Leeds, Cause4, the Arts Marketing Association and the European Sponsorship Association.
