Apprenticeship with ACP wearable art charity

This is a rare and valuable opportunity to get a foot in the door of the creative sector and be closely involved in all aspects of a new and exciting initiative. The successful applicant will work with experienced people to learn about community service, communication, art, sales, marketing, business management and much more.

Applicants should be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude. An appreciation of art would be an advantage but is not essential.

The apprenticeship is offered by the National Skills Acadamy as part of the Creative Emloyment Programme, and NVQ training will be offered and managed by Adult Education in Gloucestershire. ACP will also offer skills development in areas that benefit the aims of ACP, whilst at the same time matching the particular interests and needs of the successful candidate.

The apprentice will be based in the Gallery, usually from Thursday to Monday 10am to 4pm;  on most days, ACP team members or other volunteers will also be in the Gallery, although there will be times when the apprentice will work alone.

Flexibility is needed to cope with events, exhibitions & meetings etc. Total 30 hours per week
