Strike A Light invite YOU to be part of Gloucester Word
WHAT IS IT?
Strike A Light are delivering a project for Create Gloucestershire and the Interim Gloucester Cultural Strategy Board. We want to find out from as many people as possible across Gloucester what a new cultural strategy for the city would look like. This means, what do people want, what would they use and how can we make it happen?
We are going to present our findings with performances from community groups and actors at the Strike A Light festival launch on the 20 April at the Guildhall in Gloucester at 7:30pm.
The event will be free, there will be food, a real cultural board meeting and performance.
There will be 150 free tickets available.
HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO IT?
Over the next month we are going to be asking as many people from across Gloucester as we can what they think. Your views matter- we want to hear them and make sure that whatever cultural strategy is delivered reflects what you want and care about.
When we have got as much feedback as we can we are going to work with four community groups and professional actors to turn that feedback into performances that will be shown at the festival launch to the cultural interim board and members of the public.
That information can then help shape the new cultural strategy.
