Marketing and Events Assistant internship with Gloucester Guildhall & Strike a Light Festival

  • 6 month contract
  • 30 hours per week to include some evenings and weekends
  • Salary £5.30 - £6.70 per hour (dependent on age)
  • Based in Gloucester City Centre

If you are looking to begin a career in events, festivals or arts marketing then this is an ideal opportunity.  We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to gain valuable marketing, events and arts management experience by supporting the delivery of Gloucester Guildhall, Blackfriars and Strike a Light programmes.   

This internship will provide invaluable experience in working alongside professional arts marketing and event teams and learning the complexities of promoting and delivering events and festivals.  This will include marketing tasks e.g. writing copy, print distribution, liaising with press, as well as a range of opportunities in event and festival production and supporting areas of festival and venue management.

 You will have an interest in arts management, music, theatre, comedy, art, cinema, marketing and/or festivals. Computer literacy and a working knowledge of social media are important as is a flexible and positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
