Performer Muscians wanted for new performance in the Forest of Dean
Wyldwood Arts are producing their first professional performance piece, written by dramaturg Mike Akers. The play is being written from memories and stories gathered from local people in the Forest of Dean and will be set in a old brass band hut.
We are looking for 2 performers who can play brass band instruments to a minimum standard. We are looking for performers who are happy to co-devise - using movement and music to tell the story and bring the piece to life. Performers must be comfortable with an inclusive audience.
Rehearsals will be in Bristol and the Forest of Dean and all performances will be in various venues across the Forest of Dean and Gloucestershire in August and September.
Performances will be taken into the community at various venues - including one performance with the renowned Lydbrook Brass Band. We are looking for experienced performers who are able to collaborate, devise and are confident with movement.
