Freelance Community Producer - Creative Trade Route

This brief is for the role of a freelance Community Producer to contribute ideas and experience to shape a new Creative Trade Route (CTR) which will run up and down the Painswick Valley and connect a range of cultural venues and community assets across Gloucester and Stroud.

The role of the Community Producer is to work with partners to:

• Increase access and awareness of wearable art for artists, participants and audiences.

• Build and test new relationships within Gloucestershire’s arts and culture, education, manufacturing and retail sectors.

• Establish new connections across individuals and communities along the Creative Trade Route.

The CTR Community Producer will be specifically responsible for co-ordinating a programme of creative skills workshops as well as ACP’s Wearable Art Festival and competition which will be held in June 2019. This years themes for the festival are Biomimicry and Robotics.

This contract is offered on a freelance basis and the successful person will be responsible for their own NI and tax. This is a fixed term role for a period of 7 months from Feb 2019 - August 2019. The fee, inclusive of travel and expenses, is £7,000.
