Project Coordinator Filmaking Project

The Cheltenham Filmmaking Project is for young people aged 15 to 25 and is being held at The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum from 29 – 31 October.

The project gives young people the opportunity to write, star and direct their own short films working with professional filmmakers from Create Studios (www.createstudios.org.uk). Those taking part will see their work on the big screen when their films are showcased at The Wilson as part of a special screening event in November. The project is being provided free of charge thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and Cheltenham Borough Council. Sessions run from 10.30am to 4pm on the three days.

A Coordinator is required to support the project across the 3 days of the project acting as contact for the participants and support for the professional staff from Create Studios.

This role may lead to further opportunities to work with us supporting young filmmakers in Cheltenham.

Previous experience supporting young people's projects is essential. You must also have experience as a filmmaker or have worked on film related projects in the past.

Fee: £100 a day

To apply please send a CV and covering letter explaining why you would be good for the position. Send to oliver.tipper@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk.
