Wanted: arts & culture organisations working in the voluntary & community sector

The Gloucestershire VCS Alliance has a mission to be the independent voice that informs, strengthens and develops the voluntary and community sector in Gloucestershire.

They are currently conducting a State of the Sector Survey and need as many VCS groups as possible and are currently missing the voices of arts and culture organisations.

State of the Sector Survey – we need your help

Our mission is to be the independent voice that informs, strengthens and develops the voluntary and community sector in Gloucestershire.

To do this effectively we need to talk to you and understand what matters most to you.

Early next year we will produce a State of the Sector report. It is vitally important that we gather your views and opinions so that these can be reflected in this report. The report will be shared with all key stakeholders and provide a snapshot of the sector, its capacity and resilience.

Over the coming months we are planning to meet as many of you as we can. If you would like us to visit where you work to gather information for the report and find out what matters to you most, please email jem.sweet@glosvcsalliance.org.uk.

The information we will gather centres on staffing, funding, volunteers, your relationship with the public sector, how much or how little you have embraced digital solutions, and your knowledge of or involvement in social prescribing. We also welcome your insight and opinions on anything else that is important to your organisation’s future.

Thank you to everyone who has completed our survey so far. Please share your views by completing the survey at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/TLIEX/.

The Gloucestershire VCS Alliance 2020 State of the Sector report is set to be a major piece of work. Together let’s ensure the voice of your organisation gets heard.
