Manifesto pledges: 7

Snapshot: Creating a shared vision of how cultural education could be revolutionised, resulting in a high quality, joined up, comprehensive and sustainable offer for children and young people.

Priorities: Establishment of a new network of Local Cultural Education Partnerships (LCEPs) to work collaboratively and lead a new approach to sustain and innovate the offer for children and young people.

Coming up: Following an Expression of Interest call out for LCEP Leaders, several organisations were selected for progression, including a Creative Enterprise Hub, curriculum delivery within a Pupil Referral Unit, and integration of young arts leadership in a new housing development. This round of initiatives is drawing to a close and is currently being evaluated - report to follow here soon. We are also looking at different ways of making art and culture central to young people's lives, including through work with libraries and the NHS.

Key People: All CG members and partners with an interest in Cultural Education; RIO; ACE; GCC.
