Thinking of a future in the Creative Arts?

From the University of Gloucestershire:

8 November 2023, 10am - 5pm
Location: Park Campus, Cheltenham, GL50 2RH

Thinking of a future in the Creative Arts? Come along to our festival, which encompasses a variety of our creative degrees from Creative Writing and Journalism, to TV and Film production, Music, Illustration, Graphic Design and many more.

Outreach officers will be on hand during the day to answer any questions students may have around personal statements, portfolios, or UCAS applications for our creative arts courses.

As well as being able to tour our facilities, we have a variety of talks and panels in the pipeline from industry experts and returning graduates about creative careers including virtual production company Pixotope, local design and ad agency Factory Pattern, as well as animation and game studios.

Any students interested in broadcasting might want to take a look at the broadcasting vehicle one of our technicians will be bringing onsite, and we’ll also be running a special session on media sensitivity for any students interested in PR and journalism.

This session will feature BBC reporter Steve Knibbs and campaigner Nick Gazzard, who set up the ‘Hollie Gazzard Trust‘ in the wake of his daughter’s murder by her ex-boyfriend in 2014.

This session will also be live-streamed via Eventbrite.

This event is open to students in Year 11/12/13 or equivalent.
