Urgently seeking wheelchair-user for theatre role

The award-winning non-professional Cotswold Players in Stroud are seeking a wheelchair-using disabled actress to audition for a great leading role in Philip Douch’s emotional, funny and thought-provoking play ‘Misconceptions’.

Actress must able to play a University student, so credible on stage as aged between 19 and mid-twenties. The character is feisty, funny, assertive and vulnerable. The themes of the play are love, disability, infertility and adoption.

If we find the right actress before 17th May,  the play will be considered for production during 2024-25.

Interested? Or know someone who might be? Either already used to acting or maybe potentially talented but never had a chance to act?

Contact writer-director Philip at douchphilip@gmail.com or on 07847 664359.
