Female wheelchair-user sought for leading role in new play
The award-winning Cotswold Players are one of the leading non-professional theatre companies in the south west.
We are seeking a female wheelchair-user to play the role of Fran in Philip Douch's new play 'Misconceptions'.
Fran is a feisty, assertive, funny yet vulnerable uni student, so we are looking for a disabled woman able to be credible on stage as in her early/mid twenties.
The play explores issues of love, disability, infertility and adoption. It is emotional, thought-provoking and surprisingly funny.
Auditions are on Saturday morning 14 June at The Cotswold Playhouse in Stroud, where the show will be performed at Easter 2026.
We are keen to hear from either experienced or first-time performers.
This is an unpaid role.
Please contact Philip on 07847 664359 or douchphilip@gmail.com
