On 28 February '26, the Just SUST Festival will transform Brimscombe Mill, Stroud into a hub of creative, textile-focused activity for all ages.
Enjoy free daytime textile demos + repair sessions, drop-by hands-on workshops, a makers’ market & pay-as-you-can food from late morning through the afternoon.
(10.30am-4pm)
Late afternoon (5pm) brings a ticketed film screening of “Woman Grows Jeans” with panel Q+A that leads into the evening event introduced by special guests dance side Boss Morris. They will open the “Runway of the Preloved” community fashion show which will showcase the community upcycled garment designs (7.15–9pm). This will be a seated ticketed event in the auditorium with visuals streamed FOC into the Long Table café & bar.
Round off the night at the after-show party hosted by the Provibers until close at 10.30pm.

How to join the Runway Show:
Enter your design for the Runway of the Preloved show - you'll be central to our festival! Register your individual or group-designed garment by 14.2.26 (it costs £3.50) This is a fantastic way to highlight your creative work, the activities of your community group or organisation as your design strides down the MC'd runway!
How to get to us on the day:
To visit on the day, entry is free to visit Brimscombe Mill and its social enterprises - which will all be open. There is free parking available. The Mill is an old industrial unit and though ramps are in place for accessibility for the two public areas of the Mill, the ground inside and outside is uneven in parts. The address is: Brimscombe Mills, Brimscombe Hill, Brimscombe, Stroud GL5 2QN. There is a canal path that runs right to the Mill from Stroud or Chalford for walkers or cyclists.
Good to know:
Food and drink will be available to purchase during the daytime and in the evening from 5-8pm from the Long Table - hot food is sold on a pay-as-you-can basis. NB *The Mill is uninsulated, so dress for the outdoors!!
