A SCULPTURE TRAIL SET IN ONE OF THE COTSWOLDS’ MOST ATMOSPHERIC GARDENS

This summer, Creating Spaces returns to the Garden at Miserden, inviting visitors to explore an inspiring collection of contemporary sculpture set against the backdrop of one of the region’s most beautiful private estates.

Presented by the Cotswold Sculptors Association, the exhibition features over 200 works by artists from across the Cotswolds and beyond. Expect a rich mix of styles — from striking abstract forms to expressive figurative pieces — created in all sorts of mediums from stone and bronze to glass and textiles. Many of the sculptures are available to purchase.

INDOOR IS BACK: STEP INSIDE THE CLUB ROOM

A highlight for 2026 is the return of the indoor exhibition space.

Located in the Miserden Club Room, just opposite the Carpenters Arms pub. Here, visitors can discover smaller works, detailed craftsmanship and pieces designed specifically for interiors.

A DAY OUT TO REMEMBER

A visit to Miserden offers far more than sculpture alone. The gardens — originally laid out in the 17th century and later influenced by Lutyens — are renowned for their unique structure, wonderfully varied and expert planting and far-reaching views across the Golden Valley.

Light lunches, cakes, coffees and refreshments are available from the popular Little Ginger coffee stand, just outside the gardens. Buy garden tickets at Little Ginger; or in advance from https://www.miserden.org - where you will also find special offers and tours.

ABOUT THE COTSWOLD SCULPTORS ASSOCIATION

The Cotswold Sculptors Association is a not-for-profit, voluntary organisation run by and for its artist members. They share a passion for sculpture and aim to promote the creation and appreciation of sculpture across the region, supporting both established and emerging artists through exhibitions, collaboration and connections.

MEET THE MAKERS

On most days, members of the Cotswold Sculptors Association will be present in the garden and in the Club Room to talk about the exhibition as well as their own work, materials and processes. These informal conversations offer valuable insight into the ideas and craftsmanship behind each piece. Additional demonstrations and special events will be announced via the Association’s website www.cotswoldsculptorsassociation.com/miserden
