Thinking differently about diversity at Westonbirt Arboretum

‘Thinking differently about diversity’ is a new audiovisual art exhibition co-produced by Forestry England and Artspace Cinderford, as part of a Gloucestershire-wide community engagement project designed to inspire curiosity about diversity in nature and society.

It features artwork created by neurodivergent people from across Gloucestershire during a series of artist-led workshops, in which participants with experience of autism, ADHD, dementia, learning disability and/or brain injury were invited to express themselves creatively by reflecting on the natural diversity of trees and forests.

The exhibition will take place in the Great Oak Hall at Westonbirt, the National Arboretum, and will be open to all visitors to the arboretum between 1 May and 10 May 2023, 9 am - 5pm.
