What the flip is GDPR? - the small orgs' guide to data protection

"What the flip is GDPR?" - the small orgs' guide to data protection with Christina Poulton

If you have a mailing list...

If you hold contact details for participants or people you support...

If you have spreadsheets full of names and emails for different events...

If you hold people’s personal data, then as an organisation you need to to look after it and use it in the right way.

Wed 25th March 2026, 10.30am (90 min workshop)

via Zoom

And yes, as far as I know none of us are out here buying dodgy mailing lists or selling people’s data to telesales companies.

But we still have a legal responsibility under GDPR (The General Data Protection Regulations that cover stuff in the UK).

So let's get to grips with:

✅ All the terminology, like “legitimate interest” versus “consent”

✅ When and how you are allowed to collect and store data

✅ What you should be doing with all those spreadsheets

One of my favourite things is going deep into the matrix of policy, procedure and legal jargon, and pulling out the bits that actually make sense for small organisations.

So if you have “sort out data stuff” on the list for your small charity, CIC or community org: come and join me for a getting-to-know-you party with GDPR.

For £35 you will get a live workshop plus lifetime access to:

1. A training session explaining the essentials

2. A practical checklist

3. A data audit template with examples

Plus you can ask as many questions as you like in the Q&A community, and you get to join Sticky-note Squad, which is my free email support for small organisations doing great things.

After the live session you'll receive the recording so you can revisit it whenever you need, plus access to all the resources I share in the workshop.
