Admin and social media assistant needed for Stroud based music production studio

Hi, my name is Ben, I run a small music production studio in Stroud and I’m looking for a part time assistant for non-musical tasks.

These would include basic book keeping using Quickbooks self-employed, helping to manage my custom relationship management software by helping keep things up to date and finding ways to make things as efficient as possible, helping to create and schedule social media posts and helping to keep email inboxes organised. There may be some customer communication required mainly via email.

Some help organising the studio might be required periodically.

There are a few different strands involved in the work but most of them can be taught pretty easily although experience in some would be helpful. Some of the tasks would be weekly but some would be as needed. You wouldn’t need to have experience of all of the software I’m using but being computer literate is important. Having good attention to detail, being reliable and able to problem solve and come up with creative solutions to help me create as good a system as possible are probably some of the key things I am looking for. Understanding apps such as Zapier and other tools to help me integrate different parts of my admin processes would be great but not essential. Understanding music tech software would be a bonus but definitely not essential, basic Wordpress skills and having an interest in music would probably be helpful for keeping my website up to date and creating social media posts and communicating with clients but again definitely not essential.

It would be for four hours a week, initially I’d be looking at Tuesday mornings 9 till 1 working from my studio in central Stroud. There might be some scope for looking at other days and times for the right person. I am looking at this as a long term role and would like to find someone who is looking for something long term as quite a bit of input is required to get things up and running.

I am a friendly and approachable person who has been working hard to build a business for the last few years. I have reached the stage where some of the more admin related tasks are making it difficult to continue growing the business and as a result would love to find someone who can help me.

The role would be as a freelancer and there should be room for pay progression if it goes well.

Please let me know if you might be interested or if you have any questions. Thanks for reading!
