Stroud Valley Artspace (SVA) is a cultural hub created by and for artists in the heart of Stroud. For the last 30 years it has offered studio and exhibition space, opportunities for artists' professional and creative development and a year-round artistic and educational programme for local, regional and national audiences.
Type of Person You Are Looking For
We need a bright, enthusiastic and articulate person who is self-motivated and very committed to developing their arts management, website and marketing skills. Artistic skills and experience are desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who loves going to exhibitions and arts events and will feel at ease making social connections with our artists and audiences.
Purpose of the Role
To support SVA's team to develop SVA's artistic and educational programme by building new audiences, increasing engagement with our artistic community and supporting our financial sustainability through earned income. This is an opportunity to be closely involved in many aspects of SVA and specifically to work on event marketing and Site Festival coordination alongside office administration.
