Join us for a daylong event to listen, share, exchange insights and experiences around the potential of libraries as creative, playful spaces for children, young people and families to take their first steps into arts and culture in Gloucestershire.

  • Hear first-hand from artists and library staff testing Art of Libraries, a Gloucestershire pilot project - to dig beyond the headlines into the nitty gritty of what has and hasn’t worked.

  • Listen to a range of engaging speakers passionate about arts and culture in a wider context in libraries.

  • Get connected and meet a range of artists and companies working in library settings in Gloucestershire.

  • Have a go at an exciting choice of practical experiences including animation, storytelling, environment and costume making and visual art.

This is a unique opportunity for library staff, artists, producers and decision makers to come together to share insights, mutual learning and action.
