DRIFT TRICKS: TIDELINES

This August, King's Square transforms into a playable landscape of skateable sculptures, movement, stories, and community.

Created by artists Dani Abulhawa and Bedir Bekar alongside Gloucester's skate communities, Drift Tricks: Tidelines imagines a future Gloucester shaped by storms, tides, journeys, and resilience. Inspired by the city's dockside history and multicultural identity, the sculptures invite people of all ages and abilities to skate, roll, play, move, gather, and imagine new possibilities for public space.

Across five days, the installation will host free skating, movement sessions, workshops, community activities, and a Saturday skate jam celebrating Gloucester's vibrant skate culture.
