This is how we do it: moving away from Artistic Director led programming
Over the past couple of years, many people have asked us at Strike A Light about the way we work. At the same time, we’re keen to learn from others who are tackling similar challenges. So, we’re opening up a space for conversation – a chance to share ideas, experiences, and approaches to contemporary arts, cultural events, and even social change, both here in Gloucester and beyond.
Tuesday 11 November // 1:30pm – 2:30pm // Online (via zoom) // FREE
At Strike A Light we are trying to move away from Artistic Director led programming and work more closely with communities to consider what goes on our ‘stages’.
We have employed Community Producers to link us directly into the communities we want to engage with and go see shows together to ask ‘What do you want to see performed in Gloucester?’
Join our Community Producers, Zariq and Halima, along with Artistic Director Emma Jane, to hear how things are going so far and chat together about the challenges and opportunities along the way.
