AA2A Artist Residencies at Gloucestershire College

Gloucestershire College is offering AA2A residencies during the 2025/26 academic year, providing up to 100 hours of free access to high-quality equipment and facilities.

The college are particularly keen to hear from creatives working in fine art, printmaking, textiles, sculpture, drawing, painting, mixed media, surface design, graphic design, illustration and photography.

Residency benefits include access to specialist facilities, the on-site library and guest lecture programme, as well as opportunities to be part of an academic/art school community and to network with other artists, students and staff. Selected artists may be eligible for our Artist Support Fund to help with travel, childcare and materials costs.

These residencies form part of a unique national scheme involving 12 universities and colleges which aims to support inclusivity and diversity. Artists may also gain exposure through AA2A’s social media platforms.

The residencies take place at Gloucestershire College’s Gloucester Campus.

The application deadline is 1 September 2025.

There is no cost to apply. Full details and application information are available at the AA2A website. Applicants must have at least one year of professional arts practice.
