In the Heart of Gloucester at St Mary de Crypt
St Mary de Crypt Church, Southgate Street, Gloucester, is an Anglican Church, which was first recorded in 1140 as The Church of the Blessed Mary within Southgate.
Volunteers are essential to the running of St Mary DeCrypt. Many of them have extensive knowledge about the history of our building and Gloucester and there's always a friendly face to greet any visitors!
They describe themselves as ‘a community of friends’. If you'd like to join them, in whatever capacity that could be, please take a look at the volunteering page on the website.
